PASSIONNEE BAKERY AND PASTRY

Bonjour!

Yes, today is about a French-y bakery at Kebayoran Baru. It's called Passionnée Bread & Pastry and opened in March 8th 2014. I had a bit of a hard time finding the place cause it's literally located between a residential. It's easily mistaken for another house if it weren't for the sign, which is very small by the way, so you really have to pay attention.

Well, anyways~ This beautiful bakery is a very simple traditional french bakery, it's not like the fancy kind of bakery, but just your everyday homemade neighboring bakery. It's like in the movies and the character that lives in the country just went to buy a Baguette, this is the kind of place you would picture them coming to.

This place is really like a home sweet home in a countryside. It's really homey and cozy and just makes you want to keep coming back.

CANELE IDR 18K

I'm a sucker for caneles and this one here is worth the try. It's so soft on the inside and the caramelized crust is really good. It might be small but it's deadly good! 

TARTE AUX POMMES IDR 40K
If you don't know, Tarte aux Pommes is just fancy french word for apple tarts. The apple tarts here is the favorite one here and I can see why. It's really delicious, there are generous amount of apples and the cinnamon on top is just perfect. This is highly recommended to all apple lovers out there.

ECLAIR AU CHOCOLAT & CARAMEL IDR 14K
These look so yummy but unfortunately I did not order these cause I was really full though, but I might definitely try it the next time!

The place is full with plants and flowers, it really embraces nature, which is what we need more here in Jakarta. They don't really have many sits to dine-in because they have a bakery concept and is mostly for take away. The prices are not actually wallet-friendly but still okay. I like places like this, overall it's a fun and refreshing experience.
