Well look here.. There's another one in Senopati! This place is just full of amazing eateries.. This is called Junkyard, though I seriously can't think of why anyone would want to name their place for food 'Junkyard'. But it does has an edge to it and seems like a bad-ass place to go...
Located just across from the outskirt food markets of Blok S made this place really easy to find, it's above a barber shop called Barberbox.
The quirkiness of this place is really lovable!! They used recycled goodies that just leave you in awe. It certainly live up to it's name with it's undone cement covered walls, the barrel table, the seem like used-couches, everything you imagine seeing in a junkyard. It's bold, it's unique, it's random and it's creative, I love it!

So? Felt like you're surrounded with junk yet? There are so many antiques here that you might think people will throw away. This place is the exact meaning of 'one man's trash is another man's treasure'! Everything here is actually recycled stuffs. They don't just made it to look like it was used, but it really is recycled.
Even how they serve their dishes follows this 'junkyard' concept, with their street style food and unique plating. Take a look!!
CHEESY YANGYUM CHICKEN IDR 55K
Boneless chicken glazed in Korean sweet and sour sauce, baked in creamy potato gratin and topped with mozzarella cheese.
The Yangyum chicken is just like a meatball-shaped karage and tastes amazing! The potato gratin in the middle mixed with the combination of cheese and sauce is just perfect.. It's creamy and crunchy at the same time, really yummy!
CURRY CHICKEN RICE IDR 40K
Butter rice top with eff with curry chicken breast.
Looks can seriously be deceiving, cause that's the only explanation for this underrated dish. It looks like a home-cooked amateur dish, but it tastes INCREDIBLE! It almost taste like Indomie's curry though, maybe that's why I loved it so much... The chicken and fried egg is good but not WOW, so the highlight of this dish is the perfect butter rice, which anyway taste more like curry rice. It's really worth the try!!
NO BAKE NUTELLA CHEESE CAKE IDR 30K
You MUST try this! If you ever decided to visit here, put this on you're order straight away! The Nutella is made into ice cream with cheese cake in the middle.... YUM! The cheese on top also gives a special kick to the taste, so it's sweet, nutty, and salty.. A definite taste burst in your mouth! Try it!!
At first, I was a bit disappointed when I saw that there's only 2 desserts on the menu, but after tasting this yummy treat, I don't really care about anything else... I'm in sweet heavens!
Junkyard is actually popular for their signature cocktails and skittles vodka with their unique way of serving them on a 'Junk Tank', which is basically a fish bowl. But I didn't order any of it.... I mean, it's still early in a day and I'm not much of an alcohol drinker, so I have to pass..
'Where it all ends' is right! The furniture and decoration that you think people will throw away looked like it all ends here in this special place.. The foods has reasonable price with amazing taste, what's better than that?
Fyi, don't come here on a seriously hungry state, cause the food takes waaayyy too long to come out. I waited for like, half an hour for just one dish and it wasn't even crowded! But, it's forgivable since the taste makes up for that..
