Bonjour! I'm so happy to deliver this good news! St. Germain, which is the sister company of Cacaoté, the most popular dessert shop in town! Located in Grand Indonesia, near Pull&Bear, you can see that their super classy just by looking at it! The concept of this place is similar to Cacaoté, though not as girlish, also they're more of a french fine dining rather than desserts and the interior just screams elegance!
They're not that big nor small, yet the place is a bit too dim for my liking despite the many hanging chandeliers! Maybe because they're aiming for a more romantic atmosphere which is what France is all about!
Exact replica of Cacaoté's dessert display is also available here and the cakes as well, so you can enjoy Cacaoté's signature desserts while trying St. Germain's authentic French cuisine! Perfect!
Here, they have an all-day brunch menu but too bad we went here for dinner, so we didn't order the brunch menu..but that doesn't mean the main courses are less interesting! Some dishes also contains my favorite meat, PORK!
WAGYU SHORT RIB BURGER IDR 135K
Black bun, cherry tomato chutney, aged cheddar.
Immediately attracted to this one upon looking up the menu, cause one; wagyu, two; shorty rib! They used black buns and incredibly juicy and enormous wagyu! Just look at the size of it! Let's not forget about those gorgeous melted cheese and fresh veggies, chips on the side and it's a perfect burger! Though the cherry tomato chutney was a bit off a turn off, other than that it's all good!
CRISPY PORK BELLY IDR 140K
Pork croquette, pancetta, rhubarb, star anise jus.
PORK! But I think it's a bit overpriced and too bad the taste didn't really meet my expectation. The portion was okay, since it's still share-able and the pork's tender too, yet the combination didn't match! There's just something that made this dish missed a beat! Do appreciate the pork croquette and pork skin cracker for the garnish!
RICE & DUCK IDR 95K
Fried duck egg, braised duck, duck croque, wakame crumbs.
It's a duckling heaven! Everything made of duck, so all you duck lovers out there, you know what you'll like here! Best if it's mixed evenly! Fyi, for me this was a bit over-seasoned but if you like strong seasoning this might be perfect! And of course, those tasty chips're there to accompany this wonderful dish!
LOBSTER GNOCCHI IDR 98K
Crab meat, coconut bisque, rocket salad.
One word : weird! If you're one of those who likes to be adventurous with their food, you probably should try this! The gnocchi was perfectly fine and delicious but it had to be mixed with the coconut bisque that was sooo strong that I couldn't taste anything but coconuts! For someone who's not a big fan of coconut flavoring, this was plain offensive...good thing this was not my choice, but even my friend who ordered this was not able to finish it cause of the overwhelming coconut!
Out of this 4 main courses, my favorite would be the wagyu burger! All of them has beautiful presentation as well, such a shame that the taste was not to my liking!
When I visit there the owner came, asked about the food and he also recommended the all-day brunch menu rather than the main course, which you can also see from the amount of brunch menu that kind of overpowered the whole menu! Might come back to try them soon!

CHOUX IDR 28K
Yellow : mango and vanilla choux.
Chocolate : strawberry cheesecake choux.
Red : berry choux.
Various flavors of Choux that you can only find here at St. Germain, they're not even available in Cacaoté! We got to try 3 of these yummy treats and they were simply amazing! Slightly cold for a perfectly refreshing finish!
HOMEMADE GRANOLA
Another complimentary, a dessert perfect for diet! What I love most about this is the presentation! The flower you see there is edible! Healthy, yummy and pretty, the perfect combination! Guess that it's expected from Cacaoté's branch!
