BUMBU SATU KOREAN RESTAURANT

Looking for something authentic? Then you've come to the right place! Nope, it's not an Indonesian restaurant and yes, I know you're confused now but trust me, the foods are all authentic Korean! We came here on random impulse, since the appointment we had before at Senopati was cancelled 'one-sided'ly (not a word, I know) and we were too hungry to think or go anywhere far, so we just went to any place that piques our interest, which apparently was Bumbu Satu or Seorak Chuoetang!

Love how the interior looks very posh, well, oriental kind of posh that is. Not only that but also all the greens, totally made the place livelier! Really didn't expect this kind of place from the outside, so it was a total surprise to us!

After seeing how posh the place looks, we thought that it was gonna be hell'a expensive! Plus, the service here is excellent and even though this isn't a newly opened restaurant, the owner (I just assume he's the owner, since he's an actual Korean and looks like the boss) still monitors the place!

JOK BAL IDR 280K
Okay, I know the price might give you a bit of a shock, especially when the whole menu's price range is like this one, we were too. Turns out, the price is definitely worth it, since the portion is huge! Definitely a sharing portion, this here is probably enough for 3-4 people!

Not only is the portion satisfying, the taste is also superb! It's very well-seasoned, yet you can still taste the natural pork taste, just absolutely perfect! This was my first time trying Jok Bal, which is pig's trotters/feet and it surely left me with a great impression!

PPYEO DA GUI HAE JANG GUK IDR 95K
Also known as spicy pork bone soup. Yeap, it's another pork dish! I'm really impressed by how fair they are with the pricing, since this one is another good value. Might not be as big of a portion as the Jok Bal but still share-worthy!

It might be a pork bone soup but there's still plenty of meat on the bone that you can share and enjoy! You really don't need to doubt the taste for all the dish here, cause they're all amazing. I haven't try all of them but I have a feeling that anything I choose will taste delicious!

Yes, we only need to order those 2 dishes for a group of 3 and we definitely left with a full tummy! We even only need 1 bowl of rice, which is a complimentary if you order the soup, so you get why we kept emphasizing on the shareable point! I'd love to come back here and try their other dishes, preferably pork dishes..lol!
