Sometimes I do get bored with international cuisines and have this strong craving for Indonesians. When we talk about Indonesian, especially traditional foods, we usually would immediately refer to market or street foods. Who would've thought that we can create something way off with our traditional food that we think doesn't get enough credit! Locarasa here is one of the place that will prove people wrong, that our nation food can actually become something innovative and delicious!
Located at Kemang, it's right below Warung Pasta, which you might be more familiar with and easier to find! They serve main courses here as well but we came here especially for their gelato. Why? Well, I bet you'll also be interested once you know that the flavors are all very traditional!
Don't be surprised when we say that we already tried all of their flavors..yes, we're just that curious..lol! The price is super affordable, only IDR 20K for 2 Flavors and IDR 25K for 3 Flavors, so if you want to try them all, which I think is very possible, you won't go broke. Try flavors like Susu Telur Madu Jahe, Kemangi, Martabak, Klepon, or even Rujak Sorbet! Our personal favorite is anything that has the word Kenari on it, like Kenari Jailolo and Chocolate Kenari! The cone is also unlike the usual ones, it's made of egg rolls that you'd find on special occasions!
