ASIATALE SENOPATI

Another new kid on the block at Senopati and it's called Asiatale! Located before Crematology, on the left side of the road. Just from the name, it's obvious that what cuisine it is, they're outer appearance also says it all with that red signage and Chinese font!

Doesn't look that spacey from the outside but don't judge a book by its cover cause it's actually pretty big inside, plus they have 2 floors. Fell immediately in love with its interior, red and green everywhere (not the 'Christmas'y kind tho)! The fact that there's not many customers when I came gives off this peaceful atmosphere!

The place is pretty open that from the 1st floor you can see the 2nd floor and so does the other way around. Super like!

Other than Chinese foods, they also sell alcoholic beverages, so its a perfect hang out spot as well. Imagine enjoying your liquor while snacking on dim sum!

These lanterns and leaves are the icon of Asiatale! Have never seen other similar interior as this one!

Ta-dah!! Here's the 2nd floor, though its not completely finished yet, they still want to change a few things. Look forward to it!

At first, we thought that it was gonna be pricey but it turns out to be pretty reasonable!

SALTED EGG YOLK SESAME BALL IDR 26K

Though the ones you usually find on traditional markets is filled with green beans, this one is filled with salted egg yolk! Tastes superb, too bad it only has 3 pieces. Impressed by how it's not too sweet and still has that salted egg yolk flavor!

PORTUGUESE EGG TART IDR 24K

Not that special but still good. Well, almost everything here is yummy. Everything is made thoroughly and you can really taste quality!

CHICKEN AND PRAWN SHIUMAI IDR 24K

CHICKEN XIAO LONG BAO IDR 24K
There's a generous amount of sauce inside the Xiao Long Bao and I love how even though it's already cold, it still taste amazing!

UNCLE TIONG'S SEAFOOD CAKWE IDR 42K
Strong flavor and crispy deliciousness in a plate!

FIVE SPICE BINJAI CHICKEN IDR 118K
Just your typical fried chicken covered with five spice. Taste super ordinary though, maybe it would've taste better while it's still warm. Even after it's already cooled down, love how it's still crispy!

SHIFU HOK TIONG CRISPY BEEF IDR 82K
A must have item!! It might look ordinary but the taste is superb!! With or without rice, it still taste beyond amazing!

DEEP FRIED FISH WITH THAI SAUCE IDR 68K (S) / IDR 170K (L)
Just imagine a delicious sweet and sour crispy fish dish..lol!

PRAWN MAYONAISE ROLL IDR 55K
This ones also delicious!! Everything here is simply superb that I'm lost for words! Presentation might not be special but taste is definitely much more important and they understand that perfectly!

Ending it with some alcohol, here's their signature cocktail! Might be bending the rules a bit with drinking in broad daylight but since I'm not a drinker I don't really know about alcohols, so everything taste the same to me..lol!

Always feel super excited when there's a new restaurant that I can bring my family to and this is definitely one of it! Prepare for the invasion of our families Asiatale!
