TOBY'S ESTATE COFFEE ROASTERS INDONESIA

Here's what every coffee lovers been buzzing of! From Australia, now to Indonesia, yes, this famous coffee house has found a home here in our beloved Jakarta and into the rising star PIK Avenue no less. It's Toby's Estate everybody!

I personally think that the place is a bit extravagant for a coffee shop but I guess that's what they're going for, especially because of their location. For their exact location, it's on the ground floor and you need to go out the North Lobby to get there!

We're glad to hear that they actually uses Indonesian coffee beans here, even the Australia branch!

Went here for their opening event and it was so crowded with a lot of celebrities and important people from the coffee industry! It's definitely the top class of the coffee event!

Totally feel honored and excited for being invited to this event! We got to meet a lot of people who are very passionate in coffee and while hearing their stories, there are also an unlimited supplies of coffee!

I tried one of their caps and it was a bit milky but I'm no coffee expert and it's still enjoyable, so I guess it's all good!

Other than coffee, I also tried their Chai Latte, which is also a recommended drink here and it was definitely good! You can really taste the spices and I just love a good chai!

Some canapes that are offered throughout the event! The burger is amazing by the way, though I don't know if it's on the menu or not. Maybe it's the mini sized Patty Melt Burger?

We are deeply sorry but we didn't try the foods as the even got delayed and we had another meeting after, so we had to leave early and didn't get to the food tasting event. We do get to take some shots before though, so here are some of the dishes you'd find at Toby's Estate;

KALE AND QUINOA SALAD IDR 125K
Charred kale and red quinoa with shredded chicken, pickled cauliflower and shallots.

BEEF RAGU PAPPARDELLE IDR 115K
Slow cooked hand pulled grass grass fed beef, rich spiced tomato sauce cooked together with pappardelle.

BUTTERMILK CHICKEN AND CORN FRITATA IDR 125K
Spring onion & corn fritata topped with our signature crispy succulent fried chicken fillet, with house special ranch dressing.

PATTY MELT BURGER IDR 125K
Beef burger with bearnaise, tomato and apple relish with caramelized onions.

BRIOCHE FRENCH TOAST IDR 95K
Eggy bread with apple, mixed berries, espresso bacon drizzled in maple syrup.

Oh and by the way, the caps and chai here cost IDR 40K!

Well, that's it from this most awaited coffee shop! Might be a bit too fancy for a coffee shop to me but they do offer quite an interesting equipment, like they're automatic manual brewer (if that makes sense), plus they're the only Australian coffee shop that made it to the U.S. and covered in New York Times magazine, so yeah, they're allowed to be fancy!
