It's not everyday we hang out not at our hometown and in a new place no less! The cafe is called La Costilla and they opened in the middle of June, so it's only a month old! They are the type of a hits cafe with a photo spot, which is at their backyard with a Mexican theme! There's like cactus and stuff, like those cafes you'd found in Bali. Let's check'em out!
The address is clearly stated there, it's on Karangsari 8, Bandung. From the outside it might look small but it's a deep rectangle shaped and at the back is that beautiful photo spot!
The front is like any other cafe dominated with white and blue colors.
Here's the backyard that I said is like in Bali, though it's pretty hard to take OOTD picture here, since it's always filled with people!
What I love about Bandung cafes is that it's not as pricey as Jakarta, yet the portion and qualities are similar!
CALAMARI GREMOLATA IDR 38K
The taste is sort of like Indonesian's cabe garam with fresh fried calamari. Well, I guess when it comes to fried food, I'm easily satisfied, as long as it's not that oily and has strong flavor!
CRISPY BELLY IDR 48K
My favorite!! This one is absolutely wonderful! It's super crispy but you can still taste the meat, plus this is supposed to be a semi-salad but all I can see is the meat..lol!
COSTILLAS DE RES IDR 98K
Well, this one's excused for being pricey as it's ribs, usually ribs in Jakarta would've pass a hundred! Taste good but nothing special, just the usual sweet barbecue flavor!
PIZZA DE COSTILLAS IDR 58K
This pizza is topped with pork and crispy pork skin! It's supposedly good, right? Too bad I don't really like the bbq sauce. Taste pretty off for me but in terms of toppings, this is heaven! Plus it's only IDR 58K!
Another favorite photo spot! Good thing I came when it just opened 2 weeks ago, so maybe not many knew about this but if you came nowadays, I bet you'll need to queue for just a hot here..lol! Better come early all!
