Fat Shogun here is a Peruvian Japanese restaurant! Don't think we've tried these type of cuisine often! This cuisine is usually called Nikkei and the fusion is actually official. Are you curious? Let's start!
Interior's super pretty! It's on the top floor and all windows, yet the room is still cool, so don't worry! They also have an outdoor, check them out below!
Came here at lunch time and there's literally no one here, don't really know why.

This is like miso soup with chicken, shrimp, and crab stick. The taste is not really that special but the fillings help a lot!
CEVICHE WITH ACAR DRESSING
This is actually snappers made into patty. Yes, the portion is really small, so I guess this is a starter. Oh and by the way the snapper is raw, so it's a sashimi salad?
RED WHITE TIRADITO
Something like a carpaccio, except this one is Peruvian styled. The sauce used is mango ginger salsa, so it's a bit sweet and sour with a hint of spiciness. It's a very palate cleansing and refreshing appetizer!
CHICKEN ROLL AND COD MISOYAKI
The cod fish is super good, too bad it's very small..lol! For the chicken, the shape is pretty strange, so the chicken is rolled with rice. Taste good tho, unique too!
This is a Peruvian styled roast chicken. Actually the chicken is just an ordinary roast chicken but what makes this unique is the green dipping sauce with baked beans!
TRUFA WAGYU
This one is Aburi Wagyu glazed with black truffle paste topped with tobiko..fancy! Can you just imagine how good this tastes, especially with the fragrant truffle making it even better tasting!
YUCCAMOCHI
Literally cassava and coconut pearl that I find to be somewhat like Indonesian food instead of Nikkei. The coconut milk definitely makes it taste superb!
If you're in for an adventurous cuisine then you should definitely try this. The place is also super pretty and I suggest coming here at lunch time, so you'd get all those lights!
