Yes, the Sisterfields from Bali that everyone has all been talking about is now here!! It's been on the coming soon section for quite some time in PIK Avenue as they are located near the lobby, so everyone that comes can see them clearly. Since the day we saw their poster, we've been excited to the point of questioning whether or not it's really opening because of how long they took to open but here they are now!! Just a quick fun fact now, did you know that they're called Sisterfields cause the foods are made for sisters, which is why they're all so cute and feminine looking. Though a lot of guys also enjoys their brunch menus as well..lol!
If you're planning on visiting at lunch or dinner time, remember to reserve beforehand cause I bet it's gonna be pretty crowded as it's still freshly opened. I recommend coming at an odd hour to avoid the crowd.
Place is pretty spacey and has that Bali vibes, it's not that hot even when it's on the outdoors. Planning to take some OOTD shots? Be ready for photobombs..lol!
POLENTA FRIES + PARMESAN IDR 75K
This actually taste delicious with it's crispy outer and soft on the inside but I feel that it's a bit heavy for a snack. I'd prefer to go with usual french fries if you're looking for a light snack. Oh but the truffle aioli here is the best!
Looking for something filling? Just finish this whole portion alone..lol!
SISTERFIELDS BIG BREAKFAST IDR 125K
Eggs your way, bacon, mushroom, roasted tomato, potato rosti, hollandaise sauce, and sourdough bread. Well, these type of breakfast things are hardly ever bad and this one is also super good! It's very Sydney brunch type tho. The rosti here is made in a shape of Indonesian's combro instead of the usual rosti shape I've seen, interesting!
Love for bacon!
CHILI CHEESE SCRAMBLED EGGS IDR 95K
Even though there's chili in the name, you don't have to worry cause it's actually not spicy! The chili they use is more of a chili oil and it's only for aroma rather than flavor. On top of the scrambled eggs is feta cheese and there's also beef pastrami and under it is yet another sourdough bread.
CHILI PRAWN & XO FRIED RICE
Finally! An Asian dish..lol! Though it's an Asian type of fried rice, it's still not as bold as usual fried rice. Compared to other dishes in the restaurant, this one is the boldest tho..lol! I love it however and it's unique how they swapped the usual crackers with a crispy yet healthy kale cracker!
SISTERFIELDS DIRTY BURGER IDR 110K
Now this one is undoubtedly good! Whether at Bali or Jakarta, both taste the same and super yummy! With its 160gr patty, onion rings, and smoked cheddar, it's definitely a must have item!
CHASHU PORK NECK RAMEN IDR 125K
Here's something that you won't find in Bali's Sisterfields, yeap, it's only available here in Jakarta. Personally I find this a bit lacking, each elements just doesn't blend well with one another. It's good if you eat each elements separately but when combined, meh..
There's crispy enoki and crispy pork skin, which is hella good! Fyi, for noodles they use soba here, so it's not ramen actually.
The soup is put one the side with this little jar, so don't worry about the noodles getting soggy.
ACAI BERRY BOWL IDR 110K
This is their all time favorite! As expected, tastes as good as the one in Bali. Inside this is a blended frozen blueberry and almond milk with coffee honey as base, which is their key elements of why it's so good! For toppings they use banana, cocoa nib, almond, goji berry, granola, and more!
Keep in mind to dig in immediately as its texture is like frozen yogurt, so it will melt if you wait too long.
Pretty much all the foods we mentioned here is their specialty, so just pick your favorite out of these!
PANCAKES & RED BERRIES IDR 105K
For dessert you just have to order this one! It's sweet and sour with raspberry sorbet and white chocolate! They also added some candied almond matcha granola, which is super good!
The best!
Also tried their Cheese Tea! The cream is super cheesy and yummy and expect the tea to be pure black tea, so the sweetness only comes from the cream. I don't recommend mixing the cream cause all you'll get is lumps of cream inside the tea. Better to drink it macchiato style! Lol!
They also have 6 types of cakes! All big sized and costs about IDR 55-65K per slice.
Keep in mind that Sisterfields has a very Sydney cuisine, so it's different from Melbourne even it's though both Australian!
