A restaurant named after a famous tomato and mozzarella salad, Caprese, is not really new but certainly interesting. Located between the main lobby and lobby Food Society of Kota Kasablanka, though never had the chance to try it, since we live at West Jakarta and Kota Kasablanka is at South Jakarta.
But finally got to try it cause we got an invitation to the grand opening of the new Bakerzin here at Kota Kasablanka!
Didn't take a lot of photos of the interior because it was prohibited, I was told by the waiter that I need special permission to snap a pic of their interior... Hmm..
They have amazing and comfortable outdoors, too bad it's for the smokers or I'd be happy to sit there and enjoy the outdoor breeze. There's also an indoor bar that I didn't get to take a photo of..
CAPRESE'S PUNCH IDR 35K
Our version of fruit punch… orange, grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, pineapple and lime juice shaken with a dash of kiwi syrup
A mixture of all my favorite fruits into one wonderful punch. It's just right, not too sweet nor sour. Fresh and perfect for the hot weather of Jakarta, really recommend this if you're looking for a great refreshment!
COMPLIMENTARY BREAD
They offer a yummy bread, warm and soft, to compliment their salads. For a complimentary, they put a lot of effort to the quality. Good job!

BARBECUE CHICKEN SALAD IDR 51K
Marinated chicken breast, tossed with avocado, fresh tomato, corn, beans, lettuce, cucumber, topped with crispy onion rings in thousand island dressing
Not really a big fan of salads, but for this one I'd happily give an exception! Separated thousand island that you could pour into the salad and harmonizes the greens and chicken, brings all of them together into one solid dish that tastes not only delicious but also healthy. Credits to the barbecue chicken, cause I think that's what made me like this salad, even though I don't prefer the tomatoes and they could use less cucumber as well.
PORK CHOP IDR 109K
Hidden menu!! You won't be able to find this on the menu, since there're absolutely no pork dish written on the menu. Luckily, I found this one on a blog I read, seriously, ASK the waiter for their porks! Hmm.. Wonder what other pork dishes are there.. Okay, this dish is pretty much okay, love the mashed potatoes but maybe the meat is a bit overcooked and became tough to chew. For a slight Indonesian taste, they used a sauce that taste like rendang, which is a bit weird but still okay, I guess...
STRAWBERRY PANACOTTA IDR 47K
Strawberry flavored panacotta served with fresh fresh strawberry on top
Might be the most delicious pannacotta I've ever tasted! Pannacotta is a really simple dessert that is often abused, which is too bad, since if you really pay attention to the quality and everything, you'll get a superb dessert like this one! You can really taste strawberry in the pannacotta and also a slight white chocolate too. Really soft and fluffy texture with not crunchy but soft crumbles on top. The fresh strawberries on top is sweet as well. One bite and you're in HEAVEN!
Super satisfied and amazed with their overall incredibly good quality control! Their pizzas have some interesting and funny names, but I didn't order any of it cause everyone's too full already, some of the pizza names are; The Kanye, Alice in the Wonderland, Blackie Chan, Tom Cruise, Black Widow, and my favorite; Iron Man. Be sure to check out their pizzas and hidden pork menu when you visit!
