Look at this restaurant! A decent pasta house, yet Olive Vine is seriously underrated just because it's located in the corner of Central Park, near Ace Hardware. If you know where Ace Hardware is in Central Park, then you'll know what I mean, if you don't, then that's EXACTLY what I mean!
The advantage of having a desolate location is how homey and private this place's atmosphere is. Good lighting, peaceful ambiance, great start! A nice pick for dining with family and closest friends and also for a private business meeting.
Simple and sophisticated with a touch of creativity, nice!
The staffs here are super polite and friendly, great service is always an absolute plus in this industry!
See why I said that this place is underrated? Just look at how empty the place was from the pictures and it was at dinner time too!
ICED LEMON TEA IDR 19K
Lemon tea is always perfect anytime with any dish! Fyi, if you add IDR 39K to any main course you'll get additional Mushroom Soup, Iced Lemon Tea, and the most important part, DESSERT Of The Day!
MUSHROOM SOUP IDR 29K
There's only 1 minus point, it's not enough! But that's probably cause I just can't get enough of it. Perfect creamy texture and very well seasoned with yummy garlic bread to add a slight crispy texture into it. Delicious!
DEEP FRIED FISH ALFREDO IDR 79K
Alfredo is a pasta dish made from fettuccine tossed with Parmesan cheese and butter. Usually it uses seafood, so this deep fried fish is a perfect combination for it. Even though for a deep fried fish, this doesn't surpasses Fish & Co., but since it's accompanied with a delicious Alfredo, I don't really mind anymore!
CHICKEN STEAK AGLIO OLIO IDR 79K
Tender chicken with crispy skin and barbecue sauce, I'm guessing they also put a bit of wine into the sauce to enhance the sweet and bold flavor. Their Aglio Olio's perfect, it's not to oily and yet not dry as well with a hint of spiciness, just perfect. Love how they combine such simple dish into an amazing satisfaction! Still can't get over that beautiful sauce!
CHICKEN CUTLET W/ CHEESE FRIES IDR 69K
The thing I like about this place is that anything that's fried here is perfect. It's not too oily or burnt, the portion is perfect as well, even though it's not really thick, but it's just the right size. If I remember correctly below the chicken is salads with mayonnaise. The highlight of this dish actually is the fries! My eyes just went straight to this while I was browsing their menu. Come on, it's fries with CHEESE on top of it! Can't say no to that!
BROWNIE W/ VANILLA ICE CREAM IDR 39K
Who can resist a perfect moist chocolate brownies?? 1 disappointing part, they ran out of ICE CREAM! I bet if this warm brownies is combined with a cold sweet vanilla ice cream, it'll be PERFECT!
This restaurant really needs more attention, cause their foods are actually pretty nice and I don't know why it's not too popular. The price is also reasonable since for IDR 79K you get pasta and meat on 1 plate!!
