PAPAJO EATERY

Yeay! Something new has opened near home!! A super cute eatery called Papajo, located right next to The Fctry at Lippo Mall Puri! You can clearly tell how cute it is by just looking at their colorful signboard!

I know it's kinda small but that just makes it cuter! Love all the white with a touch of colorful pastels! We definitely picked the right spot to catch up with old besties!

Though there's 2 floors, you shouldn't expect much cause the 2nd floor is even smaller than the already small 1st floor..lol! Another is that the service was totally not the best, don't really know cause they're new or whatnot but they better fix it!

Now that we've seen their pretty interiors, let's get started with their dishes, shall we?

GARLIC MUSHROOM FRITTERS IDR 32K

Crispy fried mushrooms sprinkled with toasted garlic.

There's nothing really special here. It's good but I guess there's nothing much that can be done. Well, at least it's salty, which I love and the garlic sprinkles is a nice touch for fragrance!

PAPAJO SLOPPY FRIES IDR 35K

A pile of golden fries, topped with melted cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and a house special sauce.

This would've been PERFECT, if the fries weren't as soggy. Well, nothing can really go wrong with melted cheese! Too bad this sloppy fries were just...sloppy!

PORK SCHNITZEL IDR 58K
Breaded pork cutlet served with fries.

Okay, the plating's totally a turn off and the taste's okay-ish, though the fries here's better than the sloppy fries, meaning that they can actually make good fries! They just need to be consistent with their quality! Another plus for the thin layer of breaded skin!

NASI GORENG BABI RICA IDR 48K
Rica pork belly fried rice with egg, chili, crackers.

Favorite dish out of all! Not because we're Indonesian and it's pork..okay, maybe it is! Can't help it that we like pork so much and the rica goes really well with fried rice! A bit spicy but nothing I can't handle, so I guess you could too!

THAI MILK TEA IDR 25K
THAI GREEN MILK TEA IDR 25K

Not much can be said. It's sweet and refreshing, I'd go for the Thai milk tea than the green one, since if you expect like green tea or something, you'd be greatly disappointed!

Don't really know if I'll come back but since it's so close to home, I guess I might(?) I'd definitely come back if they've improved though, cause the place is just too cute, plus it's perfect hang out spot!
