Wohoo! When it comes to milk and ice cream, we'd immediately be itching to try it! I mean, who doesn't love milky ice cream?! Well...a bunch of people actually, but we just love it! The name of this new ice cream parlor is Milkcow and if I remember correctly, it's originally from Korea and a very popular one too! They finally decided to open up in Indonesia, where most popular dishes would end up. :p More specifically at Gandaria City, near Eat'n'Eat, which is on the top floor!
The place is pretty small and located in a corner but don't worry, it has a very instagenic design!
They've just opened this December 6th and so, they're offering a buy 1 get 1 promo! Meaning; if you buy any of their soft cream, you'll get a Milky Way, which is a soft cream without any sauce or topping!
Other than soft creams, they also have waffles here, though there're only 2 choices of waffles. Other than that they only have drinks, which are coffees, frappes, teas, etc!
Good news to all you people who loves to take selfies, there're a lot of cute sign props provided! Lol!
Okay, we'll first review about the ice cream, since the only difference is in the toppings and sauce. The soft cream is super milky that you can actually taste pure milk! Since I love milk, I find this very satisfying and if I bet you'll do too if you're also a milk fan!
PARIS DREAM IDR 48K
So for this one, the soft cream is drizzled with strawberry sauce, covered in marshmallows and topped with an Eiffel tower shaped chocolate. Personally, I'm not a big fan of strawberries, so I don't really like the sauce but other than that, I'm good!
Okay, so this is actually the free soft cream from the promotion but we just added some extra topping to it! You might find something odd, since actually, they don't sell additional sauce but when we asked for the sauce, they allowed it, so...yeay! The sauce we got is caramel sauce and it is SUPERB!
Here they used hazelnut sauce, which is also good, though not as good as the caramel..lol! They also added an actual Ferrero Rocher and I guess that's why this cost IDR 44K! :')
+MACARON IDR 10K
Lastly, this is another freebies and we got additional macaron for it! They have various flavors of macarons and we decided to have the bubble gum one. The macaron is actually nice as it's not too sweet, so it really balances out with the soft cream! Actually, this is similar to their menu called Macao Dream IDR 46K, though this one has caramel sauce instead of almond flakes!
So psyched that another yummy ice cream spot has opened in Jakarta! It might not be so close in distance but at least it's reachable. I just knew that I'm gonna be back for more of this!
