FIFI BISTRO PLAYFIELD KIDS ACADEMY SRENGSENG

So I got contacted by someone I really didn't expect! I guess you could say she's an old friend and I'm always excited to get in touch with a long lost friend. Met her in my trainee days back in college and now we're both already working! She works here on a hidden gem called FIFI Bistro at Srengseng!

Why did I call it a hidden gem? You'll understand it once you come here. It's located in a place that you won't guessed to have a restaurant this modern and gorgeous! Another reason is because this restaurant is located in a kids academy called Playfield Kids Academy!

I admit that I've had my doubts and negative thoughts while coming here but after seeing the place, all of the are replaced with hope! Just look at the place, it's beautiful! A total OOTD worthy..lol!

ROOTBEER FLOAT IDR 35K
Something that is surely refreshing, especially in the hot days of Jakarta!

You can also opt for something healthier like these, Berries Smoothies IDR 40K and Crazy Berries Juice IDR 45K, only difference is that one of them has either milk or yogurt, I forgot which..whoops!

CHICKEN WINGS IDR 30K
Fried seasoned chicken with bbq honey.

Okay, it might not look pretty and glossy like how something with honey written is supposed to look like but it actually tastes great! Nothing can go wrong with chicken wings actually, as long as they're not too dry and seasoned well!

NACHOS IDR 40K

Deep fried corn tortilla topped with salsa, cheese, sour cream and guacamole.

Yummy! But be sure to eat it immediately or else everything will just freeze up and stick but even so it still tastes amazing! Imagine how good it will taste fresh from the oven!

NASI TIMBEL IDR 60K
Steamed rice wrapped inside banana leaf, served with traditional fried chicken, salted jambal chili, sayur asam, fried tofu, and sambal.

Enjoying something traditional as a comfort food. Well, it's nothing special but it's good. Don't forget the delicious sayur asam!

KETUPAT CAPGOMEH IDR 60K
Rice cake served with chicken opor with tofu curry and hard boiled egg curry.

This is actually pretty good! Didn't expect this to be this good! The last one might be ordinary but this is superb! A definite must try when you visit this place! Plus you can also order this for delivery, so if you're too lazy to go anywhere, just give them a call!

I definitely didn't know that there is a place like this near where I live..I really need to explore more! The pool here is even open for public, so you can bring your kids to swim here and then have lunch or dinner at FIFI Bistro, perfect, right? Still don't know why the place is called FIFI but oh well! XD
