CASA DE PERI KOTA KASABLANKA

The type of restaurant that is very similar to Nando's, if you've ever heard about it. It's that chicken with peri-peri sauce and this is the Indonesian version! Located in Kota Kasablanka near Chung Gi Wa, this place is called Casa De Peri!

To be honest on first glance this place doesn't appeal at all and plus, it's pretty small and when I came here, there's not many customers. I guess people just doubted the place because of it?

Interior's pretty simple and open, so when you dine here, be ready to be glanced at by passerby!

PERI PERI NACHOS IDR 52K
All the foods here has a range of spicy levels that we can choose from and we went with the mild one, which is the medium. Anywho, this is one of the best nachos I've ever had in Jakarta! It's salty, savory, sweet, sour, and spicy, all in one bite! Even the tortilla is savory, which is rare. The seasoning is a bit too salty even for me but still very good!

On top of this is some diced flame grilled chicken strip and it's super flavorful with peri-peri sauce! This whole plate is all filled with strong flavors, yum!

PERI-PERI BAKED RICE IDR 85,8K
Yeap, pretty pricey for a baked rice. The rice is very buttery and oily but the top part is super yum with all those peri-peri sauce!

PERI-PERI CHICKEN SPAGHETTI IDR 91,3K
Using angel hair for the pasta and sprinkled with some herbs. The taste of the chicken is similar to the ones in the nachos, the flame grilled peri-peri sauce one, so it's darn good!

Also got the mild one for this!

For this, you'll get half a flame grilled chicken with peri-peri sauce and four pieces of chicken wings that can either fried crispy or flame grilled with peri-peri sauce. I got the crispy peri-peri sauce, since the half chicken is already in flame grilled peri-peri sauce.
