Yay to Birdman!! Even before coming here, I've already seen their interesting foods on Instagram! It's all pretty simple, yet attractive but the type that you have to order a lot, if you want to be full..lol! It's inside the Tower B of Parc18, in the same area as Bistecca & Dutch. Find them on your GPS if you're confused!
What they serve is Japanese cuisine that I think are meant for snacks while drinking type of food!
Yeap, the interior is as simple as this but it's always crowded! You definitely won't guess this just from the front!
GRILLED BUTTER CORN IDR 45K
Well, just like any grilled butter corn. You can definitely guess how this would taste..lol!
CHICKEN WING
There's actually foie gras inside this chicken wings. What's more shocking is that it's boneless, yeay! It also has strong flavor, which is my favorite!
SALMON POKE SALAD IDR 110K
Even though it doesn't look much but they're actually pretty generous with the salmon cubes and it's all hidden inside! There's also avocado inside but too bad it's not ripe enough, so it's bitter and hard!
PORK KATSU SANDWICH IDR 95K
This is only available for lunch. Unfortunately, I find this too standard. The bread's a bit hard and the pork katsu is just as you imagine it'll taste like!
SLICED GYUTAN WITH KIMCHI MAYO IDR 110K
Didn't try this one but the feedback from my friends is pretty good!
CHICKEN NAMBAN
The chicken namban is made into skewers and I find this pretty unique. It's all thigh and the sauce is not just mayo but something like mentai, Super good!
OKONOMIYAKI IDR 85K
The okonomiyaki here is super mushy and if there's no topping on top, it'll probably taste like half cooked corn fritters..lol! The sauce is yummy tho!
Somehow I find the foods here doesn't really suit my taste..even though it's salty. But it's too salty even for me, can you believe that?
HOKKAIDO OTARU CHEESECAKE
This is the BEST! My one and only favorite here. The inside is cold and melted creamy goodness, the outer is covered with grated coconut and the sesame cracker is just a wonderful finish!
I also tried their Lychee & Kyoho Grape, which is lovely! You can barely taste the soda and since I'm not a big fan of soda, that's a plus for me! I'm guessing there's alcohol in it but in a very small amount, so it's not overly strong and attacking your throat, love!
