So Pearl Chinese Restaurant from JW Marriot here is back with a new face. Adorned with red and gold and going hardcore Chinese with it's Tiongkok and Kanton modern cuisine. They also got a new Executive Chinese Chef, so that means new dish as well. Let's check them out!
The look wasn't supposed to be like this tho, this is just because there's gonna be a wedding tomorrow in the restaurant, so it was set up this way!
CRISPY PORK IDR 118K
A must-have menu whenever I dine in a Chinese restaurant. Yes, it's a simple yet super delicious crispy pork! Skin is crispy and meat is tender, this is definitely my favorite!
BAKED CRAB SHELL IDR 78K
Not my favorite cause you can't really taste the crab and there's this strange smell like coconut or something? I don't really know, it'll be better if I can taste the crab more tho!
DUCK RAVIOLI WITH PUMPKIN DRESSING IDR 128K
This was okay. The ravioli is fried, so it's new and the pumpkin dressing is a balanced sweet and savory. Though not many likes pumpkin, this is worth the taste!
IBERICO PORK IDR 188K
It's a mix of Thai here! The sauce is very Thai, so expect a tangy spicy flavor, which I find lovely! Better eat those veggies too, so you'd feel less guilty..lol!
CARAMELIZED WILD SALMON IDR 118K
A bit too caramelized here. I can even find bits of crispy caramel here and making it taste too sweet. Is this what they're going for? Well, I'd prefer it if it's more savory tho, since it's not exactly a dessert. Just my opinion tho!
They're also having an all you can eat dimsum promo called "Dimsumlicious", where you can enjoy a buffet of 40 authentically Chinese cuisine, from soup, appetizer, dimsum, main dishes, to desserts. The promotion is available every Sunday from 10:30 am - 2:30 PM and costs IDR 280K++, includes free flow Chinese tea!
