Found something new here at Pantai Indah Kapuk! Located at Ruko Metro Galeri Broadway area, the one that has Starbucks and Burger King. This place is called Jin Bao and it's a Chinese restaurant but the plating is super pretty and nice, which is unlike the usual Chinese restaurant.
This is the only place that has natural light..lol! It's also a bar table, so people would usually sit in the inner section, which has normal tables.
The place is not that spacey but they have 2 floors and this is their 1st floor.
THAI MILK TEA IDR 25K
The Thai Tea is a bit too sweet but it's still good.
CHEESE TEA JASMINE IDR 35K
You can choose Jasmine, Wu Long, or Green Tea for the Cheese Tea. I went with the Jasmine. I think the cheese is a bit smelly and taste too milky, so it's more like milk tea than cheese tea.
SHENG JIAN BAO (4 PCS) IDR 48K
This comes with soy sauce, ginger, chili, and garlic. The filling is really good, pork and soupy but the skin is a bit too thick for me.
Yum!!
On the right is for the dumpling before and the left one is for the homemade bao below!
HONG SHAO BAO IDR 50K
It's filled with caramel pork belly, pickled red onion, and peanut powder. For the bun, you can also choose fried or toasted, which I went with toast.
I guess it's good, though not really special and the bun is a bit hard. What I like here is actually the yummy sweet potato fries!
ABURI WAGYUDON IDR 150K
This is actually not on the menu but the staff told us to check out their complete menu on Instagram..lol! This is what he recommended and I find it pretty affordable for wagyu!
Portion might be a bit small but it's oh so good! Especially the egg, though there's a bit of crispy part, which might be caused by the torching!
Noms!
SPICY MAPO DAN DAN NOODLES IDR 60K
It's a super Chinese styled noodles, those thin ones and it's like half cooked, so it's a bit hard. It's not dry nor soup, just the right amount of sauce, somewhat like Mun Tofu I guess? There's a generous amount of meat and bacon as well!
Personally I like this type of food but I don't really think it's a general favorite, plus it's somewhat pricey since the portion is a bit small. I do recommend to give it a try tho!
