MEE POK LAU LIM PIK

Yeah!! Another Bak Chor Mee is here! It's also in PIK, in line with Sweet Hut. This one is called Lau Lim Mee Pok and it's of course, a Singapore cuisine. Open from 7 am, so you can have this for breakfast as they also sell breakfast foods like butter toast and half boiled egg, all very Singaporean!

The interior is suppose to be very simple but the wallpaper made it look crowded..lol!

Maybe in Singapore this is located at Tua Kong road as written there?

Condiments for their Bak Chor Mee, the chili is a must use!

MEE KIA REGULAR (DRY) IDR 59K
You can choose dry or soup and I went with dry. You'll also get the soup on the side if you went with dry. There's also a large sized one, where you'll get 2 pieces of prawns.

Mee Kia here uses a thin noodle, which I find more savory and flavorful than the thick one.

You can ask the chili to be separated, which is what I did as I'm afraid it'll be too spicy for me. Turns out, I got addicted to the chili..lol! It's like the chili you'll find with grilled chicken and it's super good when mixed with the Mee Kia!

DUMPLING SOUP IDR 49K
There are 5 pieces of dumplings and taste super good. Just the perfect comfort food!

MEE POK LARGE (DRY) IDR 69K
The only difference of the regular and large is with the prawn..lol! There's no prawn in the regular one. Mee Pok here means thick noodle and like I said, it's not as tasty as the Mee Kia but still good. I guess it's preference really.

For me, this is currently the best Bak Chor Mee in jakarta! The flavor is very suitable to us and the chili is addictive. Go try this now!
