Been a while since the last time we went to Gandaria area and I bet that if it wasn't for this, we wouldn't have come to this area. Not that we have anything against the area but there's just haven't been any new restaurant here, until this place called No Ka Oi came along!
It's not that hard to find, seeing as it's pretty close to 1/15 Coffee! Looking at the interior, you could probably have guessed that it's Hawaiian. Though it's obvious from the interior, I don't think it's obvious enough from their foods, what do you guys think?
They're sooo keen on making the place feels Hawaiian that they even have a small room at the back where there's sand on the ground to make you feel like you're at the beach! Though the room is way too small in my opinion, I guess they're just trying to make through with what they have..good for them!

For a restaurant, they're pretty confident in offering their coffee, so we decided to give it a try! Don't really know much about coffee but I guess it's okay-ish..though I'd advise you to not compare them with a coffee shop!

Perfect snack while you wait for other meals! I bet that you won't be able to stop munching on them, especially since it goes very well with the key lime mayo! It's the small ones that are deadly, huh? :p

Hashbrown, spam, egg (scrambled/poached), spinach, beef ham & nori seaweed.
Because this consists of all of my favorite foods, except for the spinach, I definitely have no problem with this! I'd suggest you to bite into it rather than cutting it with a knife though, cause it'll definitely create a mess, especially if you chose the poached egg!
This also came with a mango salsa that goes unexpectedly well with the Musubi! It gives a more refreshing taste but it's already good too without the salsa, so you can choose however!

Grilled salmon with mango salsa sauce.
Yes, it's the same mango salsa and I'm starting to think that this mango salsa will go well with almost anything! Perfectly grilled salmon with fluffy mashed potatoes, yet the mango salsa is the only seasoning, so without it the mashed potatoes is a bit tasteless, other than that it's all good!
Fyi, this dish is included in their healthy menu! Yeap, it's yummy and healthy, what more can you ask for?
BANANA RAMA IDR 28K
Crunchy banana fritter with shaved dark chocolate & cheese topped with vanilla ice cream.
Would never have guessed that a simple banana fritter can taste this good! Yeap, they only added some shaved chocolate, cheese and ice cream but it definitely turns into a decent dish! Maybe because of the nicely fried banana as well, because it's not oily at all! You just have to try this for the dessert!
This place would make a great place to hang out and just chill, since they got some snacks and desserts with reasonable price and various beverage as well! If I came back, I'd totally go for their Banana Rama and Popcorn Chicken again!
