WARUNG CE GADING SERPONG: SE'I FROM KUPANG

It's almost holiday time, people!! The best way for us to celebrate is definitely with our favorite food, PORK! Yes, it's obvious that this is a non-halal restaurant called Warung Ce! This is actually a pretty old restaurant at Citra but they've just opened a new branch at Gading Serpong and that's where we're heading!

Since it's pretty old school, expect a simple interior where people will most likely come just to dine and go. Pretty amazing how they're the only one that is super crowded when the other shops are pretty deserted!

I first saw this in Instagram, where I saw Kupang pork and when it comes to pork, I'll definitely come visit no matter where it is..lol! Another great news is that everything is super affordable, all below IDR 50K everybody! No wonder they're super crowded!

Okay, so this is what it looks like. We got 4 of the dishes here, Se'i Daging (Kupang's signature smoked pork), Babi Goreng (crispy pork belly), Babi Panggang (roasted pork), and last is Se'i Hotplate. Everything tastes amazing and it's best eaten with rice. Definitely my type of comfort food!

BABI PANGGANG IDR 30K
Don't thing that it's like the ones you'd find in Nasi Campur cause the taste is totally different. Stronger flavor with great chili sauce on the side!

BABI GORENG IDR 35K
This one has more fat than the last one, since the Babi Panggang is all meat but what's great about this is the fried garlic! Imagine how good this smells that while I'm writing this, I'm super tempted to just call GoJek to get it!

SE'I DAGING IDR 35K
Here it is! Their signature dish! This one also has zero fat but what makes this different than the Babi Panggang is that this has that smokey flavor! Super tender and super tasty! Portion might not be much but it's just right to eat with rice!

SE'I HOTPLATE
This one taste more like sweet and sour pork because of all the tomatoes. The flavor is much stronger here, though it's not the salty kind. I personally think that this is a portion for 2, since it's bigger than the ones before. Totally worth it!

I'd definitely come back here often :D Yeap, I'm just that weak when it comes to pork..lol!
