SEVEN FRIDAY RESTAURANT PLAZA INDONESIA

Seven Friday!! Everybody knows that this is a watch brand but does anybody know that they have a restaurant? Some people thought that this is located at Grand Indonesia when it's actually at Plaza Indonesia! Maybe there's also a branch located in Grand Indonesia but I just don't know it? Oh well!

Since I don't know the stores in Plaza Indonesia well, it's pretty hard for me in finding this place. To help you guys out, this place is located near Kitchenette! Got here right before it's open for public, so we got lucky!

There's no price in the menu and I don't really know if it's only because of the soft opening or not!

SHOW ME DON'T TELL ME IDR 110K

Their signature cocktail! You could probably tell, since the name is even shown as a decoration..lol! On top of the cocktail are cheese, chocolate and whipped cream..I can just feel the fat! :'(

They also sell skewers here, which I find rare because usually only Asian or Indonesian restaurants offer skewers. This here is Beef Skewers (IDR 45K) and I guess it's pretty good. Cooked into well done, so don't expect that tender medium well beef!

ULTIMO FRIES IDR 35K

SUPER GOOD!!! Though the potatoes aren't sliced into thin slices, it's amazingly crispy and topped with mushrooms. Superb!

PORK BELLY SKEWERS IDR 35K

We got ourselves a champion!! Too bad it's a bit too salty, since there's still pieces of undissolved salt that I don't know whether or not it's on purpose. To me who loves salty foods, this is superb but for the others this is way too salty! It's all about preference I guess!

TOMATO TUNA SALAD IDR 85K

Taste okay-ish..can't really say much about salad, since the only thing that makes salad good is the dressing. Without it, it's just like any other bunch of veggies. Or maybe because I'm just not that enthusiastic when it comes to salad..lol!

KALE CAESAR SALAD IDR 75K

Now this is the type of salad that I'd love! Thumbs up for the chicken and though this doesn't have that much dressing but the ingredients used are all my faves. Just look at those eggs! Love!

PORK CHOP SAMBAL MATAH IDR 145K

Upon skimming through the main course section, this is the one menu that I just have to get! Just like before, the reaction of others with this is that it's too salty but again, I love it!

The sambal matah isn't as spicy as I thought but it's still good!

Paired with super fragrant hainam rice! Perfection!

SMOKY SEVEN FRIDAY BURGER IDR 125K
Again! It's super salty and the patty is a bit too salty, even for me! Wonder why all the foods are too salty? Is the chef okay?

PORTUGESE CHICKEN IDR 150K

Out of all, this is the most average. The only thing that makes this good is the mashed cassava, which is pretty unique! The chicken you'd get is half thigh, wing, and breast but I think it's under-cooked! :(

HANGER STEAK IDR 130K
Steaks can't really taste bad as long as it's cooked properly, so I guess this is good but also average!

ORANGE BANANA FOSTER IDR 55K
That mini squares are toast, one with strawberry jam and the other with ice cream. Love the unique taste of Jasmine rice ice cream! Yeap, it's not vanilla! The banana is also sweet and combined with citrus for an upgrade of your usual fried banana!

This here is a Pandan Creme Brule (IDR 45K) and it's not on the menu actually, the menu only has Orange Banana Foster and Tiramisu but seeing as the Tiramisu is unavailable, this is what they replace it with! The green color is kind of a turn off, since it just looks too artificial and you can barely taste the pandan!
