Again another one has opened in Pantai Indah Kapuk! Keep an eye out people, cause I think this area will get lots and lots of newcomers and not only in F&B but also their residence! This time it's a Thai cuisine located in line with Saine Daise, called LARB. They have a 10% discount as their opening promotion, only until this 31st of August!
It's not that spacey, so if it's crowded, the room will feel very cramped and dimmer!
When it comes to Thai cuisine, of course Thai Tea is a must have and this one costs IDR 22K. This would be perfect if only it's not too watery, especially when I'm comparing it with those that are sold in a stand with cheaper price and perfect sweetness! LARB's Thai Tea here can be used as a catering and delivery, just give them a call!
COCONUT BLEND IDR 25K
If you're familiar with Kopyor then this is very similar to that. The texture of the coconut isn't those soft ones though, it's much rougher, I guess the coconut is a bit too old. They need to use those big straws, so that people could eat the coconut! Tastes wise, it's good, thank you for the complimentary! :D
LARB PORK NECK IDR 45,5K
There're 2 types of pork necks here, one with LARB's special spices and the other is just grilled. We, of course, went with LARB's special, since I'm more curious of their signature spices!
This might look as if it's all greens but that's what makes it so good! There's this fresh sensation and a bit sour and spicy, goes really well with rice! I mean, you need rice because the flavors here are pretty strong, just the way I like it!
GRILLED SIRLOIN BEEF IDR 65,5K
Without the sauce this doesn't really taste like Thai cuisine but more of just sweet tasting meat. The sauce here is pretty similar to the ones in the Pork Neck, sour and spicy, very refreshing!
Love how tender this is! Cooked to a medium well, with the inside still pretty pink! Yum!
PAD THAI IDR 42,5K
Hmm, a bit to hard for me but maybe that's just because I don't really like the texture of Pad Thai. Toppings are only with eggs, so don't expect any meat! Taste great though, just the texture!
They mostly sell pork here! Unfortunately when I came here, the menu with crispy pork are all unavailable, which is really upsetting, since I came here especially for those crispy pork! :'( Nevertheless, I guess the taste here is already okay, very Thai and the price is pretty friendly, I'm pretty happy!
