Yet another new member has arrived at Pantai Indah Kapuk called Nokcha! Found this from Ivy and because I don't have any other idea of what to try at PIK, so Nokcha it is. Came here when they still have a soft opening promotion, which is 20%!
Place isn't that big, quite small actually but the interior's pretty good and you can just smell the new paint..lol!
Pretty comfy, since most of them is a sofa table, yeay!
KIMCHI CHEESE FRENCH FRIES IDR 46K
This is supposed to come with kimchi but it wasn't available yet. I insisted on getting this though, so this is what it turned out to be. Pretty good if I say so myself, especially because they don't use just any usual chili or tomato sauce for the dipping but gojuchang sauce! You can even ask for more of the gojuchang, super Korean!
BULGOGI RICE BURGER WITH POTATO & SALAD IDR 75K
I guess it's predictable but the bulgogi is good, so that's nice.
Like any other burger with rice in place of the buns. They also have seaweed inside this to make it more Korean..lol!
TANGSUYUK HONEY TOAST IDR 75K
Stir fried pork with sweet and sour sauce plus honey and mozzarella on a toast! Yummeh, this is seriously good!
Not favoring this because of the pork but because it's literally good! The flavoring is perfect and goes well with the toast, plus the inner side of the toast is cut up, so it's all meat there!
Love the buttery toast, so even without the meat it's still good!
JEYUK BOKKEUM POTAFFLE WITH SALAD IDR 75K
If you haven't realize, potaffle is actually potato waffle, so this is potato waffle with spicy pork, though the pork here isn't as many as the toast one!
At first I had no idea what this is, that is until I read the description. Potato waffle isn't exactly something you'd find anywhere and with the gojuchang, this taste unique and so Korean!
Too bad the egg yolk didn't melt..
MANGO MOUSSE
Honestly, their dessert lacks appeal and there aren't many choices and nothing really special about them. Most are also just small desserts like this one!
Good thing it tastes good tho! In the middle there is a layer of matcha and the matcha powder is their own homemade, well their matcha is what they pride for, so it's no wonder! The mango is also super sweet that you'd question whether it's real mango or canned ones..lol!
Well, this is the beginning of their journey and we wish them luck!
