Who's ready for the new face of Ritz Carlton's Asia Restaurant? We know we are! The Ritz we're talking about is the one at Mega Kuningan, kay! And why new face? Cause Asia has been here a long time but it went through a 3 weeks shut down for this improvement, so let's see how they did!
Now their interior is definitely much more elegant with an contemporary eclectic concept. They've long been a buffet and a la carte restaurant, so that didn't change. Only a slight change in the pricing and we'll list the details on the end of this post, so stay tuned!
I kinda feel that now the table's placement is more separated where you can find a few private tables without intentionally making it a private table!
Well, for the cuisines. some old favorites, like their fried rice, meatball soup, rib eye roast beef, and others still remains but there are also new ones! Good news to healthy eaters cause now they have a Caesar Salad bar as one of their new section. New stuffs can also be found in the old sections, like Onigiri at the sushi corner, where mostly I'd be at cause of the salmon sashimi..lol!
The desserts also have a few highlights, like their Cendol Cake, which tastes like actual cendol and cheese ice cream, though it wasn't available when I came, so I didn't get to try it. Boohoo!
There's this section where you can choose some raw meats and ask the cook to grill it for you, I think it's called "As You Wish" section but I don't quite remember. At that section, there's actually no salmon but I got the raw salmon from the sushi corner and ask the cook to grill it and he agreed..lol! So this is how I got the grilled salmon!
